Nike Jordan has always had a special link to Italy – the first AJ2 was made there, numerous colours of the AJ14 were derived from the nation’s famous Ferrari sportscars and the highly regarded Shattered Backboard AJ1 was inspired by Mike’s powerful dunk in Trieste. For the latest AJ1 Mid, the label looks towards Milan and the architectural style of the city. It has soft pastel hues across the multiple leather finishes – from smooth, to textured, to suede – and is finished with a premium stamped Wings logo on the collar.
